Tech Zone, a security system installation and audiovisual equipment repair service in Jefferson, was recently awarded the 2023 Security Vanguard Award for its project with Olson Seed Service in Perry.
Paul Olson, owner of Olson Seed Service, chose to work with Tech Zone to integrate a cloud-based video solution from Vivotek. The award comes from Security Business magazine and Security Technology Executive (STE) magazine.
With property theft a growing concern in Iowa, especially in rural areas, Olson was looking for a solution to help protect his property. That’s where Tech Zone came in, crafting a solution to ease the burden of security monitoring for Olson. The Tech Zone staff used software to design a system to cover the seed service’s doors, parking and yard equipment, using cloud-based technology.
Tech Zone has installed security cameras, cellular boosters and alarm systems since 1999.
